Now Available: Demon Storytellers Guide

Demon STG FrontThe advance PDF of the Demon Storytellers Guide is now available from DriveThruRPG!

Does the mouse in the maze think:

“Today I shall try a different route. Go left instead of right. Chew through a wall. Refuse to run.”?

Does it? I think not.

I think the mouse runs because it only knows the maze. It follows the corridors like a charge following a circuit.

It knows all routes lead to the same end.

You know it, too. You left, but you’ll come back. This is your end.”

— The Triptych, Messenger Angel

The Demon Storyteller’s Guide includes:

  • Expanded information on angels, including a look at how Incarnations apply to them
  • A extensive look at the spy genre and its permutations and how they apply to Demon
  • Three “setting hacks,” including an examination of Demon in the Bronze Age

Additionally, as part of DriveThruRPG’s New Year, New Game Sale, we have a Demon: The Descent Bundle available! $65 worth of material for only $24.95!

As part of the NYNG sale, we also have Mummy, Scion, and Trinity Universe PDFs available for 25% off, while White Wolf’s store has about a dozen classic rulebooks for the same discount.

The sale runs until Friday the 15th, so get it all while you can!

I love that artwork. Looks like an demon freeing one of his brothers from probably a heavily guarded storage facility.

Any other Geist fans pause when they saw the name of that Messenger angel? Please tell me the Kerberos of the same name is a different being. Or better yet, don’t tell me that.

Two different beings of the same name bother me less than trying to tell people the difference between a Horror (Chronicles of Darkness Core) and a Horror (Beast the Primordial). gist sayin’

I think maybe that’s the point. Beast is a game about playing mythic ur monsters. The Chronicles of Darkness give rules for making urban legends and mythic monsters, from the perspective of the core all non ephemeral monsters are horrors.

And speaking of gamelines unique to CofD I can’t wait to get my hands on the Descent ST guide.

I love this book. Especially the new-ish material for Hunter and the Shards. Analysts are an interesting nod to Jack Ryan and other Reluctant Spy characters, too.

Best Demon cover art and it is a great book too!
Cant wait for the PoD version.
Usefull information and ideas for chronicles and really interesting for crossing with other CofD antagonists.
I hope it wont be the last Demon book this year!
