Thursday at Gen Con 2015 in beautiful Indianapolis!

button5If you come by our booth at 1103 in the convention center, we are giving away a V20 Dark Ages collectible pin, and a card that you can use as a Willpower bonus during your game! We’re only giving these out today, and will have different pins and cards for the rest of the con.

Thrilled to say that we managed to rush a small number of the V20 Dark Ages physical books here to the con and they’ll be for sale at the booth! We weren’t sure we could get them here for the show – but we did! (These are not the Deluxe V20 DAs from the Kickstarter as those are just at press now, and besides, we wouldn’t sell a Kickstarted book at Gen Con before the backers got theirs).

We also have prototype decks and rules for the Prince’s Gambit, Justin Achilli’s casual game of Vampire: the Masquerade politics and paranoia. Keep an eye out around the convention, particularly in the evenings, as we’ll be loaning the decks and rules out to our demo friends and you may see small groups of players testing the game and you can join in.

This has been quite the year for Vampire: the Masquerade Twentieth Anniversary Edition, with both V20 Dark Ages and V20 Lore of the Clans having very successful Kickstarter campaigns for pretty large books, and we’re just getting started!

Just last month we released Dread Names, Red List, the long awaited new look at those “most wanted” whom vampires find so heinous that they are declared Anathema and hunted by the dreaded Alastors. We have both V20 Ghouls and V20 Black Hand: Guide to the Tal’Mahe’Ra in editing as you read this, and Beckett’s Jyhad Diary is in the later stages of writing. V20 Lore of the Bloodlines (a companion book to V20 Lore of the Clans that was funded as a stretch goal from Clan’s Kickstarter) and a set of V20 Ready Made Characters are in the first drafts stage. And Prince’s Gambit is in playtesting!

This next year will be a bloody cornucopia of V20 treats!

Speaking of next year, on Friday at the What’s Up With the Classic World of Darkness panel, at 10am Crowne Plaza, we’ll be talking about the Endless Ages Fiction Anthology, a collection of brand-new stories that span all the editions of Vampire: the Masquerade, as well as announcing our next new major VtM project that we’ve kept under wraps until now.

Our Thursday schedule of events is:

  • 1-2pm: Freelancing For Onyx Path (SEM1572611) at the Crowne Plaza Hotel- Union Station
  • 2-3pm: Developer signing at the booth: Rose Bailey
  • 3-4pm: Kickstarting For Fun & Profit (SEM1580477) with Rich Thomas and other Industry Insiders at Rm 210 or 211 at the Convention Center
  • 4-5pm: WoD Storyteller Tips & Tricks (SEM1572614) at the Crowne Plaza Hotel- Union Station
  • 5-6pm: Pugmire Demos at the booth

C’mon by and say hi- we won’t bite. Much.

When you are saying “new major VtM project” you mean The Sabbat Guide V20? True? Really? Yes? Please?! Sure?! It’s a fact? 😉
Prince’s Gambit looks nice and funny for summer nights!

Hmm, no. I think it will be very easy to enjoy Prince’s Gambit- easy to learn but designed for lots of replay.

Rich! I just took a look at the publishing brochure.

WHY DO YOU HATE THE FACT THAT I HAVE MONEY?!

What is money, after all, compared to a cool game?

Will you be putting the sessions up on YouTube again, for those of us who can’t get to GenCon? A lot of these look very interesting.
