Dark Eras physical book shipping estimated date was Dec 2015. We are not a year late delivering it, and I’ll be asking backers to check their addresses next week in preparation for shipping soon. Which doesn’t change the fact that the dates provided on KS are always just estimates, and not promises for release.
No! No! No! No! All the modeling level pleges are already gone!
That was SO fast. Wow!
I guess I won’t have to explain to my sweet half why I spent 400$. Still. Happy to see the kickstarter is goign full swing. Cannot wait to see how far we can ride this.
The only reason I didn’t pledge right away is that I went away from my computer to have lunch and came back to find that Windoze 10 had decided to restart for an Important Update that took over an hour to install.
OMG!! This looks absolutely incredible! Right off the bat I want to say that from the description of Origins, it is exactly what the first edition was missing (namely, “the World”).
Just read through the Storypath preview pdf, and I have to wonder: how difficult would it be for me to use Storypath for Exalted? After all, Exalted shares the same issues that are mentioned with regards to Scion, Storyteller being designed for human level horror and the game going far beyond human and with a different genre.
Relatedly, how will Storypath be handling things like Resources? One issue I’ve encountered in Exalted is that the system assumes a constant, consistent income, which isn’t the case in some games (instead gaining income in large bursts, with no real income in between), and I’d imagine there will be characters in Scion and Trinity in the same boat.
And nearly funded already! So excited!
Wow. Less than forty minutes after going live, it’s past funded. Congratulations! I’m so excited for this! 🙂
Just added mine and it is already more than $2000 over goal
Just backed it myself. Do we know when we’ll actually see these books? Is there a ballpark ETA?
I believe they had May 2017 listed as the target on Kickstarter
May 2017 for the PDFs, October 2017 for the books.
We’re still waiting on Dark Eras which is over a year beyond date. So those dates aren’t worth going by.

I signed up in the first 15 minutes. I can’t wait to see what awesome stretch goals will come up!

Quick question on rules.
One of my favorite things about the original Scion was the super cool Initiative Wheel. Is that going to be remaining in 2nd Ed?

I’m just hoping for merits and flaws to be part of the system, even if only as an alternate rule.
