Invaders are members of a small group of amnesiac Primal who have escaped from a secret laboratory and now struggle to find a balance between hiding from the world and lashing out at it. They were created by those who experimented on budding Primal Accursed to coax them into manifesting their Creature not as a mammalian monster, but an insectoid one. The experiment largely succeeded, but the fledgling Primal experiments gained enough coherence to break out of their glass prisons and escape.
The subjects have no memory of their past lives, of being Accursed, or of the Primal, so many of them have come to the conclusion that they’re actually alien invaders, rather than were-insect experiments. And they want to hurt anyone that wants to take them back.

Scarred Lands Creature Profiles are an ongoing series of monthly releases to introduce monsters and key NPCs drawn from the world of Scarn.
Pilfer pixies are wicked, devious faerie creatures who consume magical energy. These tiny creatures attack and possess creatures who serve magicians as familiars. Once the pixie possesses a familiar, it causes terrible nightmares to plague the creature’s master, siphoning the master’s magical power in the process. Scholars believe the stolen power nourishes the pixie. Pilfer pixies resemble other varieties of sprites or pixies, with very angular features. Their gossamer wings produce a small glitter trail about two feet behind them as they fly.
This booklet contains game traits, tactics, and a brief overview of the pilfer pixie’s history and appearance. This booklet also includes plot hooks for introducing pilfer pixies into your campaign!
