All your life, you’ve dreamed of monsters.
They pull you into blackened depths, leap at you from shadows, dive at you from the skies, swarm from cracks in the walls, or break you to pieces as you scream for mercy. Then one night you realize the truth: you are the monster in the dream, and all the other monsters are your family.
In Beast: The Primordial, you take the role of one of the Begotten, descendants of an ancient nightmare creature called the Dark Mother. Beasts view each other — and the other supernatural creatures of the World of Darkness — as family, which means that Beast is explicitly designed to be crossover-friendly, both in terms of game mechanics and setting.

This KS has the best NWoD Reward Tiers up-to-date! For a purely PDF buyer/reader anyways.
For $65 I am getting Beast (+Stretch Goals), Mage 2E, Promethean 2E and Changeling 2E. Which normally I would have happily paid full price at $20 each.

Just in case you didn’t read it fully, we state that you’ll get 2nd Editions IF the 2nd Editions are available when we send out your Add-ons. Otherwise, it’ll be the first editions.
I’m very hopeful that I won’t be let down! I think 2/3 will be done for sure by December.
Or do the Add-Ons ship before the expected release of the Printed Deluxe Edition?
I didn’t feel like gambling with the other core books, but the 6 pdfs and a hardcover (discounted?) @$75 was too hard to resist. And huzzah for getting better than 70% funded in the first 6 hours!

when are we getting the subforum for beast?
“crossover-friendly” seems to mean using Kinship to have other supernaturals serve as bodyguards against Heroes, as happens twice in the draft. I remember when the idea of the different races being buddies (such as the Gangrel and the Garou) was widely mocked. Not to mention the Adruption Condition, which can screw over any other supernatural and turned Vancouver’s vampires into slaves.
Perhaps, but Abruption only works in Vancouver; the Nightmare that causes it does not function beyond city limits.
That particular Nightmare, but the Abruption Condition is listed as Common and not restricted except for Beasts’ Lair rating being the penalty. The precedent has been set, so what’s to stop a player from trying to invoke that Condition with another Nightmare, maybe one that is slightly less powerful such as using a resisted roll and no teamwork allowed? The Void is Waiting can already nerf supernatural powers, using a link to a low-wisdom mage that no mage would be allowed to get away with.
Even if it’s just one city, I doubt there will be a city where the Beasts are Blood-bound slaves to the vampires.
