Changeling the Lost: Second Edition, The Fae-Touched

So far, some of my favorite stuff about the Second Edition lines has been the appendices for mortal “minor templates”. The ghouls from Vampire 2e, the wolf-blooded from Werewolf 2e, and the Sleepwalkers from 2e add a bunch of fun options to chronicles. I wanted Changeling 2e to be similar in that regard. So, we’re giving you the Fae-Touched. This is one of the new additions to the game, it adds new options and paradigms to play with. I haven’t had the time yet, but I kind of want to run a chronicle with just these guys.

This is a first draft. So, commentary’s welcome, normal rules apply. I’m a bit behind on red lines for Lost 2e thanks to some really intense real life shit. But that’s always a blessing in disguise, because it gives me an opportunity to stew on things, and listen to commentary.

Check it out, yo.

You can discuss it here.

This isn’t a complaint, because heaven knows I don’t want to complain at someone for real life shit happening, but you’d said before that you wanted to promo the rest of the kiths fairly quickly and I haven’t seen those. Did I manage to miss them or have they not been posted yet?

If they haven’t been posted yet, that’s totally fine. I’m good.

I just didn’t want to miss something, because I’m pretty stoked about the book.

I haven’t. I’m doing a little restructuring before I share those. But we’ll get them out sooner than later.

Are all fey-touched bound by positive promises? What of the child that swears to have revenge against the bully at his lowest moment or similar?

That is absolutely flipping brilliant. What a cool, cool way to reinvent the Kinain. Not blood but promises that bind them.

    It’s all about the stories.
