Episode 82: Recap Unplugged

In which Matthew interrogates Dixie and Eddy about the details of PAX Unplugged, including at least one exciting new announcement!

  • We will never talk about art and music in RPGs
  • We talk about music in RPGs (and in wrestling and in the Victorian era)
  • PAX Unplugged!
  • Demoing
  • Trinity Core and Trinity Continuum: Aeon are live!
  • Note: Eddy mentions the Trinity screens are sold out, but that’s because they’ve been bought by retailers. So ask your friendly local gaming store to see if they have any in stock!
  • Cults of the Blood Gods
  • Exalted: Essence Edition
  • Why people working on one book doesn’t mean another book gets slowed down
  • Sherlock Holmes games
  • The joy of meeting people in person

I feel blessed. PAXU is the gift that just keeps giving even a week later. Great episode, folks. If you’ll allow it, I’d like to take a shot at answering the question too.

My highlight of the event was our game of Pugmire. We had so much fun! The game itself is amazing and it was expertly ran by Eddy, of course, but in addition to that I got to see my beloved (an introvert) hilariously steal the show as Spike. That is just priceless.

Dixie, it would have been super cool to share a table with but not dying from hunger is also a favorite hobby of mine so I get it. Who knows, may be in a couple of years I can convince you to share an Exalted Essence table with us? Now that would be even more amazing.

I think Ribbon Drive is the mixtape-based game you discuss around the 7-8 minute mark.
