Today, as an experiment, I’m posting Ken Meyer, Jr’s sketches for his V20 art assignment. Ken has graciously allowed me to post these and to make our communications visible as they occur, and I’m hoping that he’ll just pop over here and comment directly on my comments as well as yours. That’s right, how about you play Art Director here and tell Ken what you like and don’t like about these sketches? Which ones work for you, which say VtM, which ones do you despise? We’re only going to go ahead with four of Ken’s ideas here, so feel free to heap verbal abuse all over a couple of them and to question Ken’s talent, sanity, parentage, whatever.
No wait! That’s my job. Actually, I hope you folks will all be cool about this and remember that Ken has produced some amazing pieces for Vampire over the years and that he’s an amazingly nice guy as well. The chance to talk with him at this stage of a project is not something we do lightly, nor would every artist go along with it- but Ken is awesome like that. So comment as you’d like to be treated and all that- thanks!
