Kind of how a bunch of us are right now: In Freefall!
But while we don’t know what the future brings in the long-term, your friends at Onyx Path do know that we’ll be crowdfunding the Exalted: Alchemicals deluxe book this coming Thursday the 14th!
That’s a slight change to us starting on Tuesday, but we needed more time to pull the stuff together!
From the crowdfunding page:
Alchemicals: Forged by the Machine God provides a detailed look at Autochthonia, an entire world of industrial machinery and impossible technology that exists within Autochthon’s body. It is the home to the Eight Nations, a world set apart from Creation and the rest of the cosmos. The Alchemical Exalted are the Chosen of The Machine God, artificial humans wrought from clay and metal and catalyzed by a heroic soul. The book also provides an extensive panoply of Alchemical Charms, along with new martial arts styles, sorcerous spells and initiations, and Autochthonian technology and artifacts.
And, as has been our practice for quite some time, we’ll be delivering the manuscript in sections to backers throughout the campaign, so you can check it out, find typos, argue about their Charms, all the good stuff!
See ya on Thursday!
Since last week was pretty overwhelming for a lot of folks, I’m also going to post this little reminder that Exalted: Sidereals in the PDF and PoD Drivethru versions, went live last Wednesday!
Maybe the wily Sidereals were slipping in there trying to be unnoticed, but that’s actually bad for us, so here’s me giving you this reminder that the book is out there and waiting for you!
Dixie and I had a great time at this year’s Save Against Fear to benefit the Bodhana Group, and although I was rapidly fading due to a head cold, we did manage to sit in on two panels for their Branch Riders game, which you can still pledge for on Kickstarter; fittingly, one panel was all about the game and setting, and the next panel was all about the therapeutic uses that are built into it.
Why does the DM never roll dice in Branch Riders? Answers were had at the con, and you can ask on the Branch Riders Discord that is part of the Onyx Path Discord!
As always, it was a great time with the Bodhana crew, and when I last heard, all the Branch Rider demos were filled up for the whole con, which is a super sign of continuing interest in a very fun game!
Speaking of conventions, PAX Unplugged is coming fast – December 6th – 8th in my hometown of Philly, PA! Come to the Onyx Path booth where we’ll be running demo games of Curseborne and handing out special cards!
Sales-wise, we have CofD Dark Eras book and screens 75% off at IPR:

So yeah, a relatively short one this week, folks. Still fighting this head cold (and that’s all it is, I tested), getting a whole raft of plans together for more Curseborne, the Alchemicals campaign, and lots of commiseration and strategerizing in our meeting. Couple of folks were off this week, but that didn’t make the meeting a short one!
Hope you all are doing OK, helping each other out, and taking some mental health time or whatever you need. We’re here, and we still are making our:

Today’s Reason to Celebrate!
Today in the US we have the Veterans’ Day holiday, to celebrate those who served in our armed forces. Since we have three of these, which focus on different stages of service, I thought a little bit of history on this day in particular might be interesting (at least, it was to me): “Originally known as Armistice Day coinciding with holidays in several countries, which also occur on the anniversary of the end of World War I. Major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 when the Armistice with Germany went into effect. At the urging of major U.S. veteran organizations, Armistice Day was renamed Veterans Day in 1954. Veterans Day is distinct from Memorial Day, a U.S. public holiday in May: Veterans Day commemorates the service of all U.S. veterans, while the older Memorial Day, which grew out of Civil War commemorations, specifically honors those who have died while in military service. Another military holiday that also occurs in May, Armed Forces Day, honors those currently serving in the U.S. military.” And now you know!
So, what time Thursday does the KS go live?
You will give us some advance warning about that, right?
We’ll be shouting it from the social media mountaintops, don’t worry!
Plus we’ve started them at 2pm eastern us time for every crowdfunder I can remember, so odds are…
It’s historically been at 2:00PM Eastern, even on those rare yet infrequent* occasions when the campaign didn’t launch on Tuesday, but I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if that got adjusted too. I think they’re still at least trying to give us a 24-hour heads-up, but again, like Guildenstern, I’m assuming nothing.

Celebration side note – On November 11th we have National Independence Day in Poland – as end of World War 1 was also date when Poland returned to exist on maps, after 123 years of partition by German, Austro-Hungarian and Russian Empires in 18th century.
Haven’t heard about the surveys for the other game lines in a while. The Scarred Lands one is still planned for somewhat soonish ?
Before the end of the year, I hope. We _have_ been kind of busy… 😉
indeed! i guess it’s a good thing to be busy ^^ thanks
Back to having your own booth at PaxU this year? Nice. I see by the map that you’re tucked back in the corner. A few in my group want to test out Curseborn and Storypath Ultra for sure. See you there!
We should have two tables going with CB in the booth, although we may need to stagger them if we find that works better. Regardless, there will be plenty of chances to jump in and give it a try! We’ll have some handouts, too – and Studio2 will be there with our stuff to sell.
Nice. Can’t wait.
