Part of the new God Machine Chronicle rules, Conditions add an additional layer of consequence and reward to certain actions in the World of Darkness. Various things within the course of a game can cause Conditions. These include exceptional successes, supernatural abilities, and really any situation where the Storyteller thinks they can be used to heighten the drama of a game.

These God Machine Condition Cards are a handy and elegant way to keep track of and incorporate Conditions into your Chronicle with each of the 23 cards featuring a single Condition.

  2. I’m absolutely excited about these, but I’m a little confused…

    Tre the Condition Cards that we unlocked at the Demon: the Descent Kickstarter page the same as these? The wording on that Stretch Goal says:

    ‘This will include the “core” Conditions introduced in The God-Machine Chronicle. A PDF of the Demon Condition Cards will be released to every backer who pledged for a Reward Tier that includes a PDF of Demon: The Descent, and each of those backers will also receive a discount on buying physical copies from DriveThruRPG.com.’

    …Would I be knackers to buy them now rather than wait until later?

      “These 23 God Machine Condition Cards as well as additional Demon: The Descent Condition Cards cards are featured as a Stretch Goal Reward.”

      So Kickstarter backers will receive PDFs of both the GMC cards and the DTD cards. If you want a physical copy, however, that’s not included in the Kickstarter stretch goal.
