I believe in miracles, you sexy thing!
Is this book the same as the KS Backer Charms PDF ie the “Custom Charms Compilation PDF Add-On”?
Yes it is.
This is a great book and easily worth the pittance they’re asking for the PDF on DriveThru. The art is excellent and the Charms are awesome. Soul-Light Spreading Discipline is something I’ve wanted for my Solar ever since I created the character back in the 2e days.
What charm is the woman in the cover using?
Her “feminine charm” of course ;).
Honestly, the thing I want from 3rd edition books right now is a second print-on-demand option that splits the main book into two books.
Ideally, the charms in one book, and everything else in the other. (and if anything were to be added, charm-tree flowcharts like in 2nd edition are pretty handy.)
The 600 page monster is unwieldy and a little delicate, and having more full-text copies of the charms around the table would be handy – we’d probably buy one of the “rules stuff” and three of the “charms” book for a play group.
