Somewhere on the back roads of Idaho sits the sleepy town of Birchwood. Once a ghost town, Birchwood rebounded to its former glory, which isn’t saying much. The people are nice enough, and the architecture is that timeless 1930s aesthetic. Birchwood, Idaho isn’t a tourist or even a sightseeing destination, but news of its oddities escapes its borders regularly.
Deep beneath a burned-out, old county jail, The Winding One, an Heir to Kampe, holds court over all the lost and forgotten things that find their way to Birchwood. Her influence can be felt on every street corner, at every storefront, and in every home. Birchwood is a strange place, held by an even stranger mistress, and filled with terrible secrets.
