Welcome to the Release Roundup! This is where we update you on what we’ve been up to for the last month, from weekly releases to crowdfunding projects to production status updates.

Miniatures

Faceless Publishing re-released the 1998 Trinity: Battleground Miniatures Game! Battleground is the first of their Wargames Resurrectionist project, where they bring back out-of-print miniatures games.

Faceless painstakingly acquired each of the miniatures that had been released, some very rare, and scanned each of them, converting them into STL files which you can print on your 3D printer! If you don’t have your own 3D printer, check with your local library! You might be surprised what they have available.

Files are available via MyMiniFactory and Faceless’ own site (links available here), and also via Wargame Vault, which is part of the DriveThruRPG ecosystem. If you have a DTRPG account, you already have a Wargame Vault account!

Crowdfunding Update

Infernals: Crowned by Hellfire for Exalted 3rd Edition closed on BackerKit this month! We closed at $191,285 or an incredible 765% of our $25,000 goal, thanks to our 2126 backers!

Development: These stages typically happen first in a project, and concern the words you’re going to be reading.

  • First Draft: Writers turn in their initial drafts

Art Direction: These stages happen concurrently with the final stages of Development, and concern the visual appearance of the final product. Accordingly, some items may appear in both the Development and Art Direction lists.

  • Art Notes Prep: Hand-off between production and art. Art notes are collected from developers, projects placed in a holding pattern as artist availability is managed. Sometimes a project might move back to Prep from active Art Direction. Don’t panic.
