Trinity Continuum: Aberrant Kickstarter launched!

In the early years of the 21st century, the Galatea space station unexpectedly exploded. People across the globe began manifesting the ability to control quantum forces. Scientists hail them as Homo sapiens novus, a new evolution of humanity. The media dubs them novas, the superheroes for a new age. Of course, heroism isn’t for everyone. What would you do with the power of a god?

Trinity Continuum: Aberrant is the newest setting ready to be explored on the Trinity Continuum timeline. Set in the near future, Trinity Continuum: Aberrant depicts a world just beyond tomorrow, in the year 2028. The Trinity Continuum: Aberrant setting allows for a variety of playstyles, from four-color action and space exploration, to political intrigue and deniable top-secret operations.

  1. Thank you for not fridging Slider. Thank you thank you *thank* you. I know it’s a minor thing (and at the time, it wasn’t as big a deal IMO), but I’m so happy that 2019 Aberrant knows that’s a trope with issues. (Not that female characters should be off-limits, but her death setting Corbin on his path, well…)

    • I’m still not sure on whether Slider’s death qualifies fully for the trope in it’s original usage although certainly it does in the wider way we use it now, but regardless, yes, we did find that plot point no longer worked with the kinds of storylines and themes we were interested in exploring now.

  2. Hello
I was really very interested in the game. But sadly for me I live in France and the shipping cost are really too expensive 🙁
So for now I’ll stay with the 1st edition (and yes I’ve already read the “internationale shipping” parapgrah ^^)
Have a nice day and my best regards for the KS campaign 😉

    • Well, bear in mind that the purpose of this Kickstarter is to get the funds to overprint the books beyond the Kickstarter rewards and have copies to get into retail stores. So, if shipping is too much – and we really do feel your pain and understand – then you will be able to buy Trinity Continuum: Aberrant in your local game sores if they order it from their distributors or direct from Studio2. If you want to help make that happen, you can pledge anyway for a non-shipping pledge like a PDF – that let’s you get a look at the text of the book as we release it to backers through the length of the Kickstarter campaign. Plus, as we always do, the PDF and physical book PoDs will be available through DTRPG. Merci!
