In other words: the BackerKit crowdfunder for the Exalted: Essence Storyteller’s Guide goes live tomorrow, Tuesday the 19th at 2pm EDT!

If the creeks don’t rise and all the usual caveats.

Much like the Essence PG, this book expands on the rules from the main rulebook, with an eye towards customizing the Essence experience around the table – so while it’s a Storyteller’s Guide there’s a lot of material that’s for players, too! Fear not, though, Storytellers do get plenty of advice that will apply whether you’ve just gotten into Exalted: Essence, or have been engaged with the world since Exalted first came out way back when!

And then there’s the antagonists! One of the goals of this book was to provide many more foes, monsters, and other unfriendly types to challenge players, and there are lots of them in the book – and look out for the Stretch Goals!

As always, you don’t have to take our word for it – we’ll be releasing the text in sections throughout the campaign, so you can read for yourself the amazing material in there!

Still in the Realm of crowdfunders: for the They Came From the RPG Anthology! we’re gathering the shipping numbers together so our traditional printer can get the books off to our two fulfillment shippers. This isn’t a big printing/ship out effort, but it helps us see how well and how fast we’ll be able to start digging into our trad printing crowdfunding backlog!

Like I’ve noted before, this has been an extraordinary few years – as in not ordinary – and we’re looking forward to pushing out the backer books almost as much as you are!

Next up at our meeting today was a bunch of talk about the upcoming Onyx Path Virtual Con on June 5th. Tying up details with StartPlaying for those of you who want to do the Gaming part, and letting Travis know about possible scheduling conflicts for the panels. Fortunately, nothing that screws anything up yet! Schedules for Panels and APs are below in the Conventions section of The Blurbs!

Then, Tuesday night at 8 PM EDT, Jack from the Bodhana Group returns to the channel for a new episode of Expanding Your Realms! This time, we’ll be diving into the Chain and the Crags, two more of the realms available for adventure in Branch Riders!

On Wednesday at 7 PM Corbin comes back to the channel for another installment of Curseborne: Accursed in Boston! The second season is just getting started, so this is a great time to hop on board! 

Thursday, Tom Murr continues dispensing advise and sharing wisdom with Guiding the Path, live at 3 PM EDT, and next Monday will give us a bit more Adventure! with Trinity Continuum: Adventure! at 9 PM EDT!

In other news, backers who opted to add the Facilitator’s Guide to their pledge should check their emails for the latest update which will contain the code for the draft of the FG, our guide to how to use Branch Riders for intentional goal work.  This little guide offers interesting hints about using the unique mechanics of the system as well as some helpful advice about integrating this into clinical work.  You have one week to review and send us any errata you might have (please no page XX stuff—we’ve got that covered).  We will then make any necessary updates and add the final version to the roster of Branch Riders materials as we formally close the KS.

• In this one, Twilight Caste Exalt Djau Brazenreins and the Lunar Anthar Mirthless team up to save lifetimes’ worth of work while fending off ancient enemies. Together, they fight dangerous beasts, infiltrate an Immaculate monastery, and brave the revels of demon-run Dajaz.

Exalted – Essence Player’s Guide Novella: Murder on the Divine Carriage

• In this murder mystery, a crew of Exalts travels across Creation in a goddess’ carriage in what should be a simple trip, until their leader is murdered. Can March Lord Exigent Lyra Compassrose figure out which of her fellows was the culprit in time? Read and find out!
