Not only did we fund in 12 minutes, we’re looking at not quite a week in and we’re over 1100% funded!
This is, quite honestly, better than James or I expected from a fast-tracked campaign for a project supplement – even for Curseborne! Grateful thanks to everybody who has pledged so far from all of us!
We are crowding up on the last announced Stretch Goal right now, and we’re seriously looking at whether we want or need to come up with more SGs for the next week that finishes up the campaign.

Eight Realms… One Mission!
Usually, I’d end up wrapping up the blog after the BR report, but today I’d like to continue along the same theme of therapeutic gaming, like what the Bodhana Group has pioneered, but this time with a report from Eddy from an interesting conference he attended in the UK:
I went to the first ever Game Therapy UK Academic Conference last Friday. While I hesitate to call it “fun,” it was a fascinating look at what things are happening in the therapeutic gaming space. I did have a few great conversations with the speakers, and talked up Branch Riders a couple of times, but this year was mostly sitting by and listening to things as a non-academic game designer. It seems like everyone is using D&D as their system of choice, so maybe I can pull together a talk for 2027 about using Branch Riders instead. Also, it felt like I was back in school!
Now I’ll do my usual wrap-up and wish you all a safe and happy week! Next week is already May – when all the flowers come – so I think you’ll understand why all the moths arrive as well this Friday. Which is May 1st…May Day!

Today’s Reason to Celebrate!
It’s a Doctor Who-fer twofer today! First, there’s Stephen Russell Davies (1963), known professionally as Russell T Davies: a Welsh screenwriter and television producer. He is best known for being the original showrunner and head writer of the revival of the BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who, brilliantly from 2005 to 2010, and again since 2023.
Also, there’s Jenna-Louise Coleman (1986); an English actress who is best known as the Doctor’s companion Clara Oswald in Doctor Who (2012–2015, 2017) and Queen Victoria in Victoria (2016–2019). She also portrayed fan-favorite Johanna Constantine in the Netflix fantasy drama series The Sandman (2022–2025). She has received various accolades, including nominations for an International Emmy Award, as well as for the BAFTA Cymru and BAFTA Scotland Awards.
