Crowdfunding Update

The Buried Treasures Crowdfunding Campaign for The World Below wrapped up this month! Thanks to your help, we funded in just two hours, and closed at $16,485, or 330% of our original $5000 goal, thanks to 289 backers!

Art Direction: These stages happen concurrently with the final stages of Development, and concern the visual appearance of the final product. Accordingly, some items may appear in both the Development and Art Direction lists.

  • Art Notes Prep: Hand-off between production and art. Art notes are collected from developers, projects placed in a holding pattern as artist availability is managed. Sometimes a project might move back to Prep from active Art Direction. Don’t panic.

  1. I have issue with, “Other projects (including stretch goal projects). Disappears from this list once released on DTRPG”

    What about all the crowd-funded, traditionally printed books we’re all waiting for? Perhaps another section for projects that are waiting to be printed? “Disappearing from the list” makes it seem like they’re forgotten. The POD version means nothing to me. I’m not printing one POD style when I already paid for the traditionally printed version. Below are the ones that are in the “print queue” that I personally am waiting on. It’s the not listed books I’m concerned with.

    • The category you mention, “other projects (including stretch goals)” are explicitly not the crowdfunded traditionally-printed books. It’s the opposite of that.

      See the section immediately above that, “crowdfunded projects (including screens)”.

      Nothing’s getting forgotten. I’m responsible solely for maintaining this list, not for any other part of the production process, so something not appearing here does not mean it’s been forgotten by anyone involved in putting it together. As Rich notes in the Monday Meeting Notes comments, we had a gap of about a year with little to no movement on crowdfunded projects as we navigated the new tariffs, and it’s during that gap that I decided to split the listing into crowdfunded and non-crowdfunded titles, for better accuracy.

      Since that split, some books haven’t had updates posted to the Monday Meeting Notes, so they haven’t made it here. They’re still in the queue.
