New Release: Gauntlet of Spiragos

Gauntlet of Spiragos

Onyx Path and Nocturnal Media proudly present the first Scarred Lands product in ten years, the Gauntlet of Spiragos, now available on DriveThruRPG.

For centuries, titans bestrode the world, colossal heads and shoulders lost in the clouds, carelessly smashing and crushing all beneath. When the youngest of them had enough and declared war on their ancient parents, even the land itself suffered. These scars of the Divine War, which ended less than 200 years ago, have still not healed.

One such scar is the Chasm of Flies, a rent in the earth created when the titan Spiragos the Ambusher was smote down by one of the young gods, Vangal the Ravager. Now, the Chasm is inhabited by spider-eye goblins and their spider allies, but it is also thought to be the resting place of powerful artifacts from that elder age.

Gauntlet of Spiragos is a Scarred Lands adventure designed for 3rd-level characters, although it can easily be modified for characters of 1st to 5th level.

      • The product mentions Spiragos as a “lesser titan”, and in the original Scarred Lands edition there were no lesser titans, just the twelve big ones. Interesting.

        • Well… there kind of were. See the Termana Campaign Setting (it’s towards the front – the Termanan’s have a history about where the titans came from that would lend itself to “lesser titans”).

    • Yes, it’s our intention to get the PoD version out in a few weeks. Pretty much all of our projects have both PDF and PoD versions.

  1. Awesome. I love the Scarred Lands. I have to wonder what Nocturnal Media plans on doing with it, systemwise. Looks like they’re using Pathfinder’s open system at the moment.

  2. The Scarred Lands are still one of my favorite settings. It’s nice to see it getting some attention and I’m really looking forward to seeing what you guys do with it.

    • We’re just in the release planning stage right now, but I’d expect some sort of book before this time next year, and probably some more adventures.

  3. This setting was my choice for many campaigns before a lot of friends went off to fight in the early 2000’s. And when most of them came home, school and life obstructed us. But you guys are around now, huh?

Raise your glasses, a toast to high adventure is among us.
