W20 is on sale!

Werewolf: The Apocalypse 20th Anniversary Edition is now on sale in PDF and print-on-demand from DriveThruRPG.

Seeing it released is an incredible moment for all the writers, artists, editors, and layout bods who worked on the book.

The deluxe Kickstarter editions β€” both “regular Deluxe” and Heavy Metal β€” will be coming soon. Rich Thomas is working closely with the printers and they’re printing the interiors. The best place to get info on that is the W20 Kickstarter update page; Rich is in close contact with everyone involved, while I’m focused more on the new books in the line.

  1. I would love to have gotten the B/W, Standard, and Premium editions so that I could compare each one to the HME I ordered, which I will one day have my hands on *grabby-hands*.

Nonetheless, I put in my order for the Standard Color hardcover, and now I eagerly wait for it to arrive. πŸ™‚

  2. Over on the WW fora I saw this quote from Holden:

‘ “Werewolf-inspired Exalted” is arguably an even richer concept-mine than “Frankenstein-inspired Exalted.”

Particularly when you expand… “werewolf” to “all tales of bestial dualism, and all shapeshifting folklore of any kind.” I mean, hardly anyone in America has ever even heard of them, but I could riff on African werehyena legends alone pretty much forever. ‘

And I immediately wondered what that means for Ajaba. I know a breedbook isn’t on the table right now, but can I take this dev/author comment to mean that IF an Ajaba breedbook was feasible economically and there was a demand, that enough material and ideas exist to write one? πŸ™‚

Totem and Summoning doesn’t change their rolls of Witts + Rituals for Gnossi, true? Onley to go through the Gauntlet right?
After taht i get weird the difference beetween the Multiple actions system from C20 and W20.
    Many thanks.
