Wraith: The Oblivion 20th Anniversary Edition Deluxe Kickstarter is Live!

Background Wr20 Logo

Onyx Path’s 13th Kickstarter is now live!

All the stories they told you about what it would be like after you died? They were wrong.

There is no Heaven and there is no Hell. There’s only the Underworld, with the ravening maw of Oblivion at the bottom and the impossible dream of Transcendence at the top. And in between, all the Restless Dead.

Are you ready to join them?

  1. Congratulations! I am so happy the Kickstarter goal was met so quickly!

Unfortunately, for me, all the Uber cool tiers I wanted to put my Oboli down on were sold out before I had chance to pledge.

Will any more new tier levels or quantities open up, since the goal was met so fast?

  2. Does W20 include material on Risen, Specters and Mediums? And how about material from the old Legions, Haunts and Renegades sourcebooks?

  4. I never heard of this Wraith curse, but interesting that it is your 13th Kickstarter, tempting fate here? 🙂

More so I sense the approaching dread doom of my wallet. I’ve only ever heard good things about this game from anybody who played it, a real unique experience by all accounts, count me in!

    • I hear ya’ on the doom in the wallet area, but I’m gonna weather it by, uh, not buying any holiday gifts for my mates or family? Yeah, they’d want me to get this book. Too right!

      • Your family will understand, even early Greek philosophers knew it was an objective moral truth that Wraith should be funded.

  5. $40,000 between Stretch Goals?? That doesn’t seem right to me. And if later Stretch Goals are as widely spaced and some of them are just more money to the creators – there seems to be a huge imbalance compared to the previous Kickstarters. I’m not sure I like where this is going

    • I asked this in the backers comment section. They let me know that it was because of the expected expense of the Orpheus section of the book.

I realize that they are expecting it to be 15,000 words, but the entire funding for the book is 50k and the entire Dark Ages book was funded at 40k.

I think this stretch goal is quite inflated unless the Orpheus section constitutes an entire book itself. I’d like a bit more explanation on this. I would almost want a separate KS for Orpheus, instead of such a large stretch goal.

  6. Wraith is intriguing. I was planning on backing it at a PDF level until I saw my hearts desire: Orpheus content. I’m strongly considering backing at at physical copy level now, but my finances are limited and hard choices need to be made.

Question: Do you know if Orpheus will be getting it’s own re-release/anniversary/cool-thingy later on?
