A quick update, after a long silence:
- V20 Companion is about 50% in Eddy’s hands, with the other 50% rolling his way over the next few days and weekend.
- I’m also due to deliver the outline for the next book in the series to Rich and Eddy on roughly the same day as the rest of the V20 Companion material is due.
For now, that is all, but it’s good news.

I’m not sure if this is the time/place for such a query (and maybe I missed it elsewhere), but can you tell us anything about what the book will look like? I mean, is it going to be full-colour, laid out like the V20 with the super-pretty background and chapter headings? Or will it be a more simple, black and white dealy? Perhaps some hybrid that will still fit with the V20 aesthetic?
…I’m 100% sure I’ll buy the book regardless, but you know, I’m just asking for the rest of the community who I’m sure are curious. Yeah, that sounds totally believable…
Last I talked to Rich, he’ll use the same full-color layout as V20 (which is also what was used for Dust to Dust).

I suspect that this has already been covered someplace here but, is there a target date of release for this? I am really looking forward to getting the book and want to know when I should be ready to buy it. Also where will this be selling? Is it only going to be RPGDrivethru.com or will this be available to stores?
I believe the target is first quarter 2012. It’s amazing how quickly a book can make it into your hands when we don’t have to worry about printing, shipping, warehousing, distribution, and retail propagation 😉
(But we still have to worry about editing, art direction, graphic design, and proofing.)
