After some debate, I’ve decided that I’ll toss up my edits to the drafts, but I’m not going to post my comments to the writers. I tend to have a very direct development style, and by the nature of this process I’m going to be giving the writers their feedback after open development is closed, so it felt weird to me that the first time they see my comments was when everyone else could see them as well. Plus, if I see some compelling reasons to change my mind, then I can quietly change the comments and present the writer with a more cohesive train of thought.
However, work has been pretty busy this week, so I haven’t gotten too far. Rather than leave everyone hanging, though, I’ll toss up the prologue and introduction. In general I thought Ree did a good job on the prologue — most of my comments were tweaks to improve the story — and Matthew generally hit what I wanted to see with the introduction, although I think it could be tighter. Also, I don’t have a lexicon compiled from all the other chapters yet, which will go in the Introduction.
Yes, I have XXX there. Get the LOLs out of your system. 😉
Great story and intro!

I read Chapter One and the Introduction, and now I’m wondering if I missed something… Thaumaturgy has no rituals above Level Five mentioned at all in V20, and yet Rites of Blood says that all rules from Blood Magic: Secrets of Thaumaturgy are still viable. Does that include high level rituals?
Since Level Six rituals are a sticky topic and I didn’t have room, I didn’t address them in this book. I’ll revise that sidebar to make it clear that MOST material should work.
