See Ya Next Year! [Monday Meeting Notes]

As we are all on vacay this week – hopefully recharging our engines to dive right into our 15th year making games as Onyx Path – I asked the crew last week to send me their aspirations for 2026. Here ya go!

Eddy’s New Year’s Resolution: This year I resolve to get back to doing yoga and exercise (last year was such a mess that I completely fell off on that), as well as finding more ways to give back to my community.

Matthew: My New Year’s Resolution for 2025/2026 is to run more games, as I just haven’t run enough this year. I only had the chance to run The World Below, Monster Kingdoms, Cold War Cthulhu, Curseborne, Vampire: The Dark Ages, Vampire: The Masquerade, Regency Cthulhu, Kult: Divinity Lost, Call of Cthulhu, Tales of the Old West, Pendragon, Godlike, Locus, They Came from [CLASSIFIED]!, They Came from Camp Murder Lake!, and Scion this year. I’d like to add at least one more game to that list to make sure I’m not missing out.

LisaT: My New Years Resolution is to learn at least one new process or program. I don’t want to get stale!

Mirthful Mike: my New Year’s Resolutions….

  • leave the house for more than runs to the grocery store or dr appts.
  • get paperwork done in a more timely manor.
  • bring on at least 8-10 more artists for non Curseborne projects.
  • get my whole time management back on track.
  • continue to get our offset press queue moving while navigating the current economic hellscape
  • lose another 30lbs… if not more. 50 would be nice.
  • get some of the stuff that needs doing to the house done…

Ian’s NY Resolution:

This year I’m going to try to make some space for some personal projects I’ve been neglecting.

Dixie:

In the new year, I hope to continue to make art for all sorts of people, expand on the worlds of Curseborne and Pugmire we’ve already established, and talk with more fans in more places. I hope to see my colleagues more if possible, and I hope for (good) big changes in life! I don’t really do resolutions, as I don’t like setting myself up for disappointment, but there are lots of things I hope to see and do in the new year, and those are but a few of them!

Travis adds these:

My new year’s resolution is to continue expanding the Scarred Lands for Savage Worlds line, creating more community content, and tying up some personal projects that have been simmering on the back burner for some time! I cannot wait to tell new stories with you all in 2026!

And as for RichT:

I’m looking to ramp up my exercise routine and continue to eat healthier all through 2026 (not just in the first few weeks). I’m planning on continuing to don my Ron Thompson disguise and help Mirthful Mike get our books through layout and into your expectant hands. Also with Mike, we’ll continue to get our trad printing schedule rolling again with what we’ve learned this year and with the Exigents print run. I’d really like and will attempt to get out another Crossroads Continent book since I backburnered the line to concentrate on our new launches.

Plus, with us starting year 15 of being in business, I want us to do some sort of celebration all through the year, special sales and gaming surprises and the like, as well being able to move forward with at least one of the special projects we’ve been working with setting up this year!

Finally, just want to hope that the New Year brings fun and happiness to all of you out there in our:

    • Thanks Louis! I agree about Curseborne and we’re going to keep ramping up lots of new projects for it! Your support and that of your whole crew has been one of the heartening aspects of getting CB to where it is so far that has kept us going. Have a Happy New Year!
