Wild at Heart

Blood and Smoke

Writer Alec Humphrey kindly provided some updated animal stats for use with Protean and Animalism, as well as for those situations when your vampire just gets jumped by a guard dog. (We’ve all been there, right?)

These are adapted from a variety of previous books, with a few entirely new ones added in.

Enjoy!

    • I’d like to apologize for my vague question. It was born out of newbish confusion and curiosity. And I was in a rush to write more that day.

I was curious if this was an addition to a pre-existing list, or only an alteration (“updated animal stats”) that can be found in print. I’m a little confused at the specific organization (sorry must be OCD).

SUPER curious as to why a vampire would ever be faced with…a buck. Hahaha! When I first read the list it made me curious about moose, goats, hawks, hedgehogs, etc. I just feel really badly for the PC that gets attacked by a herd of deer or something. What GM would do such a thing?

      • These are compiled and updated from the World of Darkness core rulebook, Mage: The Awakening core rulebook, Skinchangers, and Blood of the Wolf, with a few additions. 🙂

        • Thanks very much Rose! I’ll write these down and make a note of that. I’m hoping to work some WoD books into my annual budget (Werewolf related first). Much appreciated. ;D

  1. Thanks for these. It’s curious to see some Attributes having a 0 (zero) rating, but it makes more sense that some very small creatures having even 1 Strength.

  2. These are great. I’d like to see them added to a larger npc book at some point.

One question though, as though as badgers are, are they really stamina 5 resilient?
