Media Spotlight: A Bunch of Gamers

Happy Tuesday, everyone! This week’s spotlight shines on regular favourites and committed producers of gold standard actual plays, A Bunch of Gamers!

The Spotlight

A Bunch of Gamers have for some time now been running a lengthy chronicle of Werewolf: The Apocalypse, which for me has proven a massive inspiration for my own chronicle (which admittedly is set in the Wyld West), but have recent dove into the murky depths of They Came from Beneath the Sea!

Check out their range of content over on Apple Podcasts, or wherever you happen to listen to your favourite shows:

The Video Round-Up

If you’re not already following Onyx Path on YouTube and Twitch, now’s an ideal time to do so. We produce a wealth of content on Twitch every week with a group of stellar partners and content creators, and much of that content makes its way to our YouTube channel too. Don’t take our word for it, however; you can check it out for yourselves:

As you can see, we have some changes set to our usual schedule due to the upcoming Onyx Path Virtual Gaming Convention 2022 (Onyx Path Con for short). Check out our schedule in yesterday’s blog entry – the Monday Meeting Notes – and tune in to watch games played live, hear game announcements on our various panels, and more!

In the past week, we uploaded the following videos to our YouTube channel:

Fatebreakers is a new actual play of Exalted: Essence that acts as a fantastic display of the kinds of characters, gameplay, and system use you can come to expect from Essence. What’s more, if you’re new to the game, this is a great on-boarding ramp for you to learn about it.

If you want to give them a listen, you can find Fatebreakers over on YouTube or Podbean:

The fine folks of Shadows by Firelight have a whole Werewolf: The Apocalypse chronicle on their YouTube channel – A Rite to Remember – and you can find the playlist right here:

Our good friends over on Devil’s Luck Gaming have been soldiering on with their absolutely fantastic Trinity Continuum Adventure / Assassins actual play, which you can find live AND in their archives over on Twitch. Just give them a follow (it’s free!) and you can find the older videos too:

https://www.twitch.tv/devilsluckgaming

Don’t forget Devil’s Luck Gaming also have a massive trove of other actual plays of our games (and games by other companies) so I guarantee you’ll find something you enjoy from them, whether it’s Trinity, Exalted, World of Darkness, or something a little different!

If you’re a Spanish speaker, you’ll enjoy Hombre Lobo: El Apocalipsis covering off VampireWerewolf, and more!

The Podcast Round-up

And then we have the always fun podcast round-up, including:

The Wondrous Atlas of Creation’s Destiny looks at characters, concepts, and places throughout Creation, the setting of Exalted 3rd Edition, and spends two episodes a piece examining each and the way you can use them in your Exalted chronicles. I’m still getting through their range of content, which is frankly amazing.
